Information on Materials and Medias

I have felt inspired to use the highest quality materials when possible. This means that I have chosen colours of high artist quality, and preferably the ones with high permanency. I have avoided the nuances with lower permanence. The papers used are all acid free, as are the paper boards. They are also mounted with acid free materials, such as glues and various tapes. See further information on Environmental Information as well as the Detailed Description of the Paintings. There has been an effort towards high workmanship, in all of the details, since this is one way to honor life as well.

I had little specific knowledge prior to starting this work in late November 1999. The pictures then started to appear as deep inspirational pictures within, followed simultaneously by explainations, and hints about the art materials. I thus have to thank both our invisible friends, as well as helpful people in different parts of Sweden. Since the whole work has felt like a gift, I wish to present it as well as possible. The paintings all belongs to a whole chain of work, and therefore I will in very few cases sell any originals. I will paint some original copies, in limited editions, if ordered, to further the possibility to continue this work. That means that exact copies of some of the paintings can be obtained. There will also be some posters in the future, so that people can get easy access to the material. I have perceived this whole period of work as a part of Life's boundless grace, as a deep smile within coming from the heart of life and therefore I do not consider myself the only creator of it; I give that honour to life itself, in its many manifestations, where we all play our parts, held together by what I perceive to be unlimited love. I have tried to let the choice of materials mirror this attitude, and the awe I have felt during those months of work, to the best of my present ability.
